The photos were taken with 35MM black and white Kodak TRIX negative film. I along with nine others, took a flight from Hermosillo, Sonora to La Paz in Baja California Sur in México. I was at the University of La Paz where there were photographers, scientists, investigators, artists, TV and press media from all over the world. The year was 1991.
This experience was an in incredible natural phenomenon very different from 2017.

The North super Moon is the color of Saturn on the expedition of Cassini, the South super Moon is one of the moon of Saturn called Enceladus. This moon is a hidden ocean on the icy crust that encases an ocean water. Photos were taken at Sabino Canyon in Tucson, Arizona in 2016.

The black and white photo is from Laguna Salada in Baja California Norte, México this lake used to be covered by the waters of the Colorado River at Delta.
The color photo is from the South Rim the Grand Canyon at the Plateau Point. We hiked the canyon for two days. There, we saw a California Condor who was nesting in that area, in Arizona, USA.

The color photo was taken while chasing the blood moon between Florence, Arizona and Tucson, Arizona, USA. Because there was a monsoon that afternoon, I could not see the moon instead I photographed the sun in 2018.
For this project, I used 120MM-400ASA black and white film negative and 35MM digital color 20 pixels. I scanned the black and white film on 40X40 inches surface in order to merge this with the color images.
I have always wanted to take photos of my black and white and color dreams and now this photoshop technology allows me to fulfill my art wishes.

Para este proyecto utilice película en blanco y negro 120MM-ASA400 y fotografía digital en color de 20 pixeles. La fotografía en color se fusiona con la fotografía en blanco y negro la cual la escaneo al tamaño original de la foto en 40X40 pulgadas.
Siempre he imaginado tomar fotografías de mis sueños en blanco y negro y color. Ahora con el proceso de photoshop me es permitido cumplir mis sueños en el mundo del arte.
